F – DAY

 

The DEPAOLO VOLLEYBALL TEAM lost to Kennedy yesterday in an exciting three set match.  Game scores were 25-23, 16-25, and 17-25. 

 

During lunch waves, students will have the opportunity to donate at Alex's Lemonade Stand.  Donate, pick up at treat, have a photo taken with a masked friend, and most importantly, Take a Stand Against Cancer.  Students who donate will be entered into a raffle to win daily prizes

 

UNITY DAY:  Make it ORANGE and make it end! Wednesday, October 20st is Unity Day.  What are your true colors when it comes to showing that you believe that all youth should be safe from bullying? Come together in one giant ORANGE message of hope and support, WEAR AND SHARE ORANGE to color our nation, and even the world, visibly showing that DePaolo believes that no child should ever experience bullying and that we are united in showing kindness, acceptance, and inclusion

 

DEPAOLO YEARBOOK:  Do you enjoy drawing? Would you like to have your artwork displayed on DePaolo's 2021-2022 yearbook cover? If your answer is yes, please enter this year's yearbook cover contest. Entries are due no later than Friday, November 5th. Winners will receive a free hardcover yearbook and a gift card to a place of their choice. ABC/STEPS PUMPKIN DECORATING AND CARVING CONTEST: The annual contest in on!  Students and staff- get those creative juices flowing.  Once again this year we will be uploading your creations to a Padlet and on Friday, October 29th the whole school will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite pumpkin.  We will have winners in multiple categories, with the winners receiving gift cards.  The Padlet link is posted on the Student Announcement Bulletin Boards and will be hanging in your classrooms.  Last year we had 74 amazing pumpkins and we cannot wait to see what you all create this year!!  So get ready, get set…and DECORATE!  Any questions?
