Coffee House is a performance program which showcases the creativity of Southington High School students. While most acts are involve music, we welcome actors, comedians, and other talented young artists. Auditions will be announced two weeks before the shows and a sign up list will be in the Guidance Office. Students are expected to bring a "show ready" act to the audition.
OTHER INFORMATION AND RESOURCES
This program has a steering committee involved in running it. It is made up of talented Junior and Senior students who devote their time to the program. Currently there are six students on the committee and they cooperatively decide on audition acts and help set up shows and run the program.
In the second half of the school year, selected Junior or Senior students who have performed with Coffee House at least twice, will have the opportunity to record a CD of their music or work. In May 2012, eight students went to Trod Nossel Studios in Wallingford, and recorded a CD. Copies are available by contacting the advisor.
