The application process for the Ag-Sci program is an extensive one for new students and parents. The department has developed a checklist that the applicants are encouraged to use as they work through process of applying to our program.

The Southington Agriculture Science and Technology Program accepts applicants who have an interest in a career in Agriculture Science and Technology, Agri-Business, Production Agriculture and other related fields.

The curriculum is designed for enrollment in Grade Nine. However, students entering Grade Ten may be considered if space is available, and if the student meets other admission criteria. To be considered for enrollment in the Southington Agriculture Science and Technology Program all of the following information must be received by the Agriculture Science and Technology Center by the application deadline. We cannot act on incomplete applications.

Three ways to submit your application:

 

  1. Ask your counselor for a hard copy of the application.
  2. Save a copy of this fillable form. When you complete it, print and turn in to your counselor.
  3. Save a copy of this fillable form. When you complete it you can attach it to an email and send to your counselor.

Complete applications are due on December 15th. 

After the application is received by the Agriculture department, the student and a parent will be required to attend an orientation meeting at the Agriculture center. You will receive an invitation by mail.

After this meeting and the review of all required material, a decision will be made on the acceptance of the student.
