Summer School Program and Courses
Grades 9 – 12
Dear Parent/Guardian and Student:
The Board of Education will offer summer school courses for students in grades 9-12 for any of the following purposes: loss of credit due to attendance, failure of a subject (provided the failing average was not below 50), preview of a course not yet taken (no high school credit), or review of a course taken previously (no high school credit).
Registration begins in early June. Courses* being offered are:
11:10 - 1:10
|English 12||English 11|
|English 11||English 10||English 10|
|English 9||English 9|
|Algebra II||Algebra I||Geometry|
|World History||U.S. History|
Health (M, W)P.E. (T, Th)
*Courses and/or times may change due to enrollment
*First class---Monday, July 1st. On this day only, there will be a general meeting in the cafeteria at DePaolo Middle School prior to the start of each session whereby students will be assigned to teachers and rooms.
July 1st - 25th, 2019 (M - F)
No classes July 4th - 5th
Session I: 7:00-9:00 a.m.
Session II: 9:05-11:05 a.m.
Session III: 11:10 a.m.- 1:10 p.m.
$275 per course (due upon registration)
$150 for Health or P.E. classes

If registering before June 14th, bring tuition, registration and/or medical form(s) to the main office at Southington High School by noon. No cash please.
Register in person at DePaolo Middle School in the main office area June 26th - 28th from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
*Summer school office hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
