Summer School Program and Courses 2021
Grades 9 – 12
Dear Parent/Guardian and Student:
The Board of Education will offer in-person summer school courses for students in grades 9-12 for any of the following purposes: loss of credit due to attendance, failure of a subject, preview of a course not yet taken (no high school credit), or review of a course taken previously (no high school credit).
For Students Enrolled in Summer School with Failures 40% or Above:
Eligibility: Students who earned 40% or above for the year in one of the eligible summer school courses will have the option to take up to a maximum of (3) traditional summer school courses.
For Students Enrolled in Summer School with Failures Below 40%:
Eligibility: Students who earned below a 40% for the year in one of the eligible summer school courses will have the option to take a maximum of (2) summer school courses but MUST attend the mandatory support session (see below). Students may also take a third course but must have earned a 40% or better.
Mandatory Daily Support Session (2:00pm - 3:00pm daily)
Students MUST successfully participate and complete the traditional summer school course session AND the additional daily support session to earn credit.
The additional support session will provide one-on-one structured time with instructors within the content area. In-person attendance for the daily support session is mandatory.

2021 Registration Process
First class is Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. Students will receive directions via email regarding arrival on the first day. It is therefore important to check your email prior to the first day.
2021 course dates:
July 6th - July 29th, 2020 (M - F)
Session I: 8:00-9:55 a.m.
Session II: 10:00-11:55 a.m.
Session III: 12:00 p.m.- 1:55 p.m.
***All classes are in-person with no option for remote***
No cost this year.
