Summer School Program and Courses

Grades 6-8

Dear Parent/Guardian and Student:

Summer school remedial language arts, math, science and social studies courses will be offered online to students in grades 6-8. Students in these grades who have not met sufficient success in these areas can register to review the curriculum content needed to enter the next grade.


**June Update**

Due to the threat of COVID-19, in-person courses will not be held for this summer rather all courses will be offered online.

2020 Dates: July 6th - 23rd

*First online class date will be Monday, July 6th.

Prior to the start of the program, each student will receive a link or code that will be used to enter the teacher’s online course.

Tuition:

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, tuition for this year’s program is covered by the Southington Board of Education.*

Times:
Session I: 8:00 - 9:15 am
Session II: 9:30 - 10:45 am
Session III: 11:00 am - 12:15 pm

*Students must be eligible and be a student currently enrolled in a Southington public school.
