    Affordable Connectivity Program

    The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides eligible households $30 per month off their internet bills. To deliver maximum cost savings to families, the Biden-Harris Administration has secured commitments from 20 leading internet providers to offer ACP-eligible households a high-speed internet plan for no more than $30 per month.

    Connecting CT Families to the Help They Need

    Connecting Children and Families to Care is about blending and integrating all child-serving systems into a network of care which will equally and effectively serve all children and families.

    Pursuant to Public Act 21-116, we have put together a list of behavioral health resources for parents who may have a child struggling with a behavioral health need. The act requires each local and regional board of education to distribute the applicable documents to parents/ guardians and students starting January 1, 2022, and make the documents available on its website.

    Southington Public Schools Weather Notification

    Southington Public Schools posts school cancellations on our website. Go to www.southingtonschools.org and it will appear as a pop-up on your screen.

    If school is dismissed early due to weather, an email will be generated through ParentSquare and sent to you. Email addresses are collected at the beginning of each year with the demographic update form. If you change your email address or phone number, please notify the office or request an update through ParentSquare, and the school will update PowerSchool.

    If afterschool/evening activities are cancelled – an email will be sent out. Please try to have a strategy in place in the event an early dismissal is called.

    Every effort is made to cancel school as early as possible on days of severe inclement weather. In most instances, the decision is made and broadcast by approximately 5:00 a.m.
