S.T.E.P.S.

Southington Town-wide Effort to Promote Success

S.T.E.P.S is an asset building program that helps encourage positive behaviors in our youth. The more assets young people have, the more likely they will help others, exhibit leadership, succeed in school, value diversity, as well as avoid risky behaviors.

Visit the S.T.E.P.S. website and see what it has to offer students, parents, educators and the community! www.southingtonsteps.org

There are 40 different developmental assets that the Search Institute outlines, which is the model S.T.E.P.S is following www.search-institute.org With the help of parents, our schools, and members of the Southington community, we can create and build a new foundation for the future of Southington!

Please contact the Youth Prevention Coordinator at Southington Youth Services at 860-276-6281 for more information about the S.T.E.P.S initiative.

We will have S.T.E.P.S events posted on our school website throughout the school year.
