JFK School Counselors Visit 5th Graders
The JFK School Counselors give a presentation to the 5th graders about middle school transition. Registration may be completed online this year...more information to come! Students will need to choose one of the following: band, orchestra, chorus, or computers.
Camp Sloper Day for Asset Building
All 5th Graders who will attend JFK will spend an exciting day building assets at Camp Slopers! 5thGraders going to JAD will have their own scheduled day too. Middle school administration and middle school counselor Ms. Stearns will be making an appearance and spending some time with students. This is a great opportunity for grade 5 students from all 5 elementary feeder schools to meet each other, bond and team-build! Thank you to Camp Sloper and STEPS for making this an annual event!
Please notify Ms. Stearns if your child attends a parochial or private school and would like to attend the Sloper Asset Day Field Trip. A permission form will be provided to you and your child should bring the signed form to Slopers that day. Ms. Stearns will meet your child at Sloper when you drop him/her off. Please contact Ms. Stearns if your child will be attending at email@example.com.
5th Graders Visit JFK
All 5th Graders and their teachers visit JFK for a meet and greet assembly. They will also have an opportunity to listen to our musical programs perform. In addition, the 5th graders will have a tour of the building accompanied by JFK students. Students will receive a "Welcome to Kennedy" folder with pertinent information.
