Hatton Elementary

Welcome to Hatton School. We are located on 12 acres of property in the eastern section of Southington. The school, which was built in 1954, was renovated in 2003. Hatton houses a Pre-K program. Thirty seven certified staff members serve the needs of the 450 students. We have a computer lab, several computers in every classroom and Smart Boards in all the fourth and fifth grade classrooms.

Hatton School has a very strong home school partnership with a very active PTO. In addition to sponsoring cultural arts events and class field trips, the PTO hosts several workshops for parents throughout the year with interesting speakers. The Hatton community is committed to the Southington community. The students and staff participate in several food drives, the Relay for Life event, Jump Rope for Heart and Special Olympics “Young Athletes.” With the support and involvement of parents and community members, we work hard to provide the best educational opportunities for all our students.
