The Learning Academy is our tuition free, after-school tutoring program for ninth and tenth grade students who are struggling with the academic and organizational requirements of Southington High School.

It meets most Monday and Thursday afternoons (October 17, 2016 - May 25, 2017) from 2:25 - 3:55.  It is facilitated by language arts, math, science, and social studies teachers. Students are given strategies to help them improve their time management and organizational skills along with help in completing homework and other coursework. There is no enrollment fee and transportation home is provided by the school system, provided the student is eligible to take a bus to school. For more information about this service, please contact Assistant Principal Richard Aroian.

Enrollment forms may be printed here and returned to Mrs. Verillo in the 9th grade Academy. Pre-printed packets are also available in the 9th Grade Academy.
