Principal's Message

Welcome to Thalberg Elementary School!

Mr. Beecher LajoieThe entire staff at Thalberg Elementary School would like to welcome all of our new students to our family! We are very excited to have you with us.

Through this web site you will get to know our "neighborhood school". We take great pride in providing individual attention to our students' needs. This caring attitude is reflected in our Quality Plus Mission Statement:

"We are committed to continual improvement of our school's community through the creation of an environment that fosters highself-esteem and excellence through the promotion of mutual cooperation, trust and confidence."

We believe that learning is a lifelong mission and we are all active learners and guides. Keep your eyes tuned to our page--we've just begun.

Reflections

The students at Thalberg Elementary are a pleasure to be around. They strive to do a good job, one for which their teachers and parents applaud them and one of which they can be proud. Being principal allows me to see students in a variety of situations. Being successful at a task, working out a problem or meeting to talk about a school concern. In all cases, I am proud of these boys and girls and their attempts to do the best they can.

Our staff represents the highest quality of individuals who pull together to provide your child with the best opportunity for an excellent education. These dedicated people put in long hours at school and at home working on ways to meet each student’s unique needs. A loving and caring attitude is always present.

Parents are the cornerstones in the whole education process. Without your support the efforts of the students and staff would suffer. We arevery fortunate to have such supportive parents. As individuals, you each support your children. Then in a cooperative effort, you do so many things. You assist teachers on field trips, parties, reading to children, art projects, typing, helping on the computer.too numerous to list. The PTO is devoted to improving our school. I personally call on this group many times and help is always forthcoming.

Together, as students, parents, and staff great things will be accomplished.

Beecher Lajoie
