JFK has implemented a state of the art online service that offers the convenience and information needed to manage your child's meal account. By logging onto the above website, you may create a secure account to manage your child's lunch account. This may be funded with:
cash given at the lunch line register,
checks made payable to "School Lunch Program", or
via the website (credit or debit card) for a small transaction fee.
The student's account is divided into two options: a Meal Account (money reserved for meals only) and a General Account (money that can be used for meals, People's Choice pizza and/or snack items). When sending in money by check or cash, please include the student's PIN (the six or seven digit student number used to log onto the school computers). Also, please indicate how much of the money should go into the student's Meal Account and how much should go into the student's General Account.
If you are concerned about a serious food allergy, please notify the cafeteria. This information can be added to the system so that a warning will appear on the computer screen to alert the cashier to make a quick review of the items on the student's tray.
If your child has qualified for Free or Reduced priced meals, this information is in the computer and the meal will be processed with no acknowledgement of the student's status.
We are looking forward to more efficient service in the cafeteria and an easier means for you to prepay for your student's meals.
