Counseling Services

DePaolo Middle School

 Who Goes to the School Counseling Office?  Every student at J. A. DePaolo Middle School is entitled to School Counseling Services.  Students see the school counselors for a variety of issues and concerns.

 

What Services Does School Counseling Provide?

*  A friendly "HELLO"

*  Consulting to students, staff and parents

*  Individual and Group Counseling

*  Crisis Intervention

*  Orientation Programs

*  Classroom Presentations

*  Coordination of parent/student/teacher meetings

*  Plus a variety of other testing, referral, and scheduling services

 

 

 2010-2011 School Year

Which School Counselor Do I See?  Every student is assigned to a school counselor.  Mr. Nyerick will be the 6th grade school counselor for the 2010-2011 school year.  He will follow your class throughout your school career at JAD.  If a problem arises and Mr. Nyerick is not available you may request to see one of the other school counselors.   Below is a list of school counselors and their grade level for DePaolo students.
