GED Test Preparation Program

The GED® Program offers preparation to improve academic skills so an individual can pass all four sections of the State GED® test. The sections include: Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science and Social Studies. Instruction is focused on individual students learning needs and assessments are given to provide student feedback.

All students are pre-assessed in the areas of reading, writing, and mathmatics. Evening courses are then offered for English, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science. As a student progresses through the program assessments are provided to analyze progress.

The computer lab is available to all students registered in GED Preparation Classes.

Please call Adult Education if you have any questions about these classes at 860-628-3229 ext. 333.
